If you don’t know a lot about rising chairs or recliners, selection can be quite daunting.
To put your mind at ease we have fully explained each model and how they operate in our guide to rise and recline chairs so you can choose the most suitable.
In a nutshell though, there are two types – the manual model which isn’t powered and reclines by your movement and the powered, rise and recline models which allow you to sit in the upright, raise your feet and then recline the back if you wish.
The manual models have a standard seat height and are operated by a locking latch outside the right arm when seated whilst the powered models have a buttoned handset connected to the motor which will take you to your optimum comfort level. In addition, wings can be fitted to all models to snooze against.
We also offer a bariatric tilt in space model capable of lifting 35 stones – this in itself is very heavy to move and, if this interests you, we would suggest you contact us on 01535 272957 where our sales advisors are more than happy to offer advice without pressure.
Each model has its own unique name and reference to make life easy and all you need to do is decide if you would like wings or not and choose the fabric.
Fabrics in brief…
This is very easy - we manufacture our seating in either vinyl or waterproof polyester with vinyl being the quickest to wipe clean. Both these fabric types are available in a myriad of colours, all have a high abrasion resistance and all are Anti-Fungal/Anti-Microbial with the latter being particularly relevant for healthcare applications. For safety they all meet the latest flame retardancy regulations as well.
Colour choice has a massive impact on how a room will look - everyone has their own favourite. This is why we offer totally free of charge fabric cards so you can not only see the actual colour but feel the texture and quality for yourself.
We want you to make the right decision, we want you to be happy with your purchase so pick up a phone and give us a call or send an email to email@example.com and we will bob them in the post to you.
Please view our large range of fabrics with their “tech-spec” together with their care guide.
We manufacture to order and, on average, aim to deliver to you within 20 working days. If you mark your order as “URGENT” we will treat it as such but, if necessary, contact you with alternative products or fabrics to ensure we can meet your deadline.
